Allison Johnson
Allie grew up in Texas with a natural love for movement, the outdoors, and adventure. She began her studies at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in advertising of all things, but quickly realized that a desk job wasn’t the right fit.
That realization led her to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth, where she graduated in 2022. After completing a clinical rotation in Portland in the summer of 2021, she knew the Pacific Northwest was where she wanted to be and made the move shortly after to begin her clinical career.
Since then, Allie has worked with a wide range of patients, including those recovering from surgery, managing orthopedic and neurologic conditions, and athletes working toward a return to sport. She places a strong emphasis on patient education and believes in a collaborative, team-based approach to care.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find her hiking, skiing, camping, or training for her next run—always chasing sunshine and Portland’s best restaurants.

(She/They)
I am a relational somatic therapist working from an existential-humanistic lens, integrating attachment theory, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and narrative therapy. My work is grounded in the understanding that healing happens through the body, relationships, and meaning-making, not just through insight alone.
I also draw from my training in art therapy and yoga to incorporate creativity, breath, and embodied awareness into the therapeutic process. These approaches can support deeper self-understanding, emotional processing, and new pathways for healing and connection.
I believe healing is a fundamental human capacity, shaped not only by our individual experiences but also by relational and systemic contexts that can disrupt our sense of connection, identity, and purpose. In our work together, we gently explore how past and present experiences are held in the body and how they influence your current patterns, relationships, and sense of self.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly two decades in the creative corporate world, including six years at adidas. This experience informs my understanding of burnout, high-performance environments, identity strain, workplace dynamics, and career transitions. I especially support clients navigating similar systems and pressures.
I hold an MA in Art Therapy from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling, an MFA in Applied Craft and Design, and I am a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. I am a Registered Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon, supervised by Justin Rock, MA, LPC.
My clinical focus includes trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, identity exploration, neurodivergence, 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences, family dynamics, toxic work environments, and career transitions.
